The makers of LinuxCAD have been heavily advertising their package to the point of people complaining that it represents spam.
A user has bought the package, and reports that the software may not live up to its advertising. Not a big surprise...
In the interests of "fair play" (or perhaps of diminishing the amount of angry mail they were likely getting), Linux Gazette provided the opportunity for the makers of LinuxCAD to respond.
I would urge anyone considering buying a LinuxCAD license read that "reaction" first. And look carefully at their web site. I'm not convinced that they describe as UML diagrams are what Grady, Booch, and other "Gang of Four" folk would consider to actually be UML ...
